隐藏曲面用来盖住模型中的孔和型腔，以阻止刀具加工这些区域。在PowerMILL中可产生三种类型的平面： 1.自毛坯 – 允许在定义毛坯后在指定的Z高度产生一个平面。 2.拟合 – 将产生两个虚拟平面，其中一个和边界中的点接触；另外一个 和边界中的点接触。所产生的拟合平面和这两个平面平行，且距边界的距离短。 3.投影 – 产生一平行于激活用户坐标系的X Y轴的平面。该平面位于边界中 点的Z高度上。
